Leicester City will be back at home to host Brighton after their draw with Watford in their reopening game. Ahead of this clash, Leicester have registered 54 points and are placed third on the standings while Brighton, with 32 points, are 15th. Leicester were minutes away from three points as the league resumed but a late lapse saw them drop two points in the 1-1 draw with Watford. The Foxes took a 90th minute lead but two minutes later they were pegged back, denying them a second win in six matches. On the other hand, Brighton scored a late goal to secure three points in a 2-1 win over Arsenal and will be hoping for another shocker here. For Leicester, right from the time the league was forced to stop in March, they were on a shaky patch. They have just two wins from their last nine league matches and have lost four. Their only clean sheet in the last four matches has come against relegation threatened Aston Villa though they remain the second best in defence in the season, having conceded 29 goals. Leicester started the season on a high, with seven wins in eight home league matches but in the run up to the stoppage, they were struggling at home. Out of the last seven home league games, they have managed just two wins and with one clean sheet. However, in three of their last five home matches, they have scored two or more and failed to score completely in just one of the five.

As for Brighton, they will hope for a better run after their win over Arsenal, which was their first across 11 matches in all competitions. Before beating Arsenal, they had last won in December and for their survival hopes, they can afford a loss here. In the Premier League, Brighton have one win in 10 matches and will be looking to banish that run starting with this game. It has been even tougher for Brighton away from home, with just one win in the last 13 league matches away from home. Of the 14 league matches away from home, Brighton have managed just two wins – against Arsenal and Watford, both struggling sides in the season.
