Leicester - Arsenal: Form Analysis
Leicester will try to respond from a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in their last match. The result snapped a three match winning streak across all competitions and a run of seven points in their last three Premier League matches. Despite not finding the net against Manchester United, Leicester created a number of good chances and probably deserved at least a goal. They managed to register a total of 1.67 expected goals on two clear cut chances created, not bad considering what a defensive force Manchester United have transformed into this season at Old Trafford. The problem for the Foxes came in the form of their defending as they were torn apart time and time again by the Red Devils. Leicester allowed a staggering seven clear cut scoring chances against in the loss to Manchester United, ultimately coming away fortunate that their opponents didn’t find the net more than three times.
For the visitors, they were able to earn a dramatic 4-2 away win over Aston Villa in the last outing, putting an end to a four match winless run. The victory was much needed for Arsenal after they suffered a 3-1 home loss to Manchester City in the prior match which saw them concede the top spot in the Premier League. Arsenal have been fantastic away from home this season and the win over Villa was the latest in an impressive nine win, one draw and two defeat away record. The Gunners have struggled somewhat on the defensive side of the ball in recent matches compared to the airtight defensive form that they displayed earlier in the campaign. They’ve now conceded nine goals in their last five league matches after previously having conceded just 14 in the first 18 matches of the season.

Leicester & Arsenal Squad Analysis
Summer signing Gabriel Jesus is closing in on a return to the league leaders with March listed as the most likely time frame. Arsenal had to do without the services of key midfielder Thomas Partey against Manchester City and Aston Villa but the Ghanaian international is looking like he should be back in the fold for the visit to Leicester. Meanwhile, positive news regarding starlet Bukayo Saka as the club confirmed that despite taking a number of knocks in the win against Villa, the 21-year-old is not injured.
For Leicester, manager Brendan Rodgers only has to deal with a few absences including Jonny Evans, James Justin and Ryan Bertrand. Youri Tielemens, Boubakary Soumare, Dennis Praet and Jamie Vardy will all be pushing for a start after each having made an appearance off the bench in the loss to Manchester United last weekend.
