Leganes only managed their first point of the season in their last game, against Valencia and while it was a big point for them, they will know just how crucial this game is on their season. Leganes have no clean sheet in their five matches this season and have failed to score in three of the five matches so they will have their work cut out going to this clash against the team with the best defence in La Liga so far. Having come from behind to hold Valencia shows Leganes have some fight in them and it will be key that they show it here. They are winless in the last seven La Liga matches stretching back to last season and have no clean sheet in the run as well. Leganes will be hoping to stop the bad run at home that has seen them lose all their three matches in the league at home this season; they are on zero wins in the last seven league games at home and they have the joint poorest attack in La Liga so far, having scored just two goals in the opening five.

Athletic Club have won each of the last three matches against Leganes, twice with clean sheets and will be looking to continue with the same in this clash.
