The Hammers are coming off the back of a disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Manchester United. A dominant first-half display should have put West Ham out of sight, but they could only go in one-nil up, and United, inspired by Bruno Fernandes, turned the game around. It ended an impressive run of three victories in the league for David Moyes' team. They are unbeaten in three of their last four away games in the league, the only defeat being a narrow 2-1 loss versus Liverpool at Anfield. We anticipate both teams giving each other plenty of respect with chances aplenty in one half and conservatism in the other. We foresee a draw.
