Leeds vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

That dream of a return to the Premier League is beginning to fade for Leeds United. They have been in the play-off positions for months but recent form is poor and they start this game in seventh place. That's a place below the final play-off position currently held by Fulham and there's a three point gap but Leeds have a far inferior goal difference to the Londoners. Even if Leeds were to win this game and their final match of the season away to Wigan, they know that if the three teams they are chasing for a play-off position win one of their last two matches, it's another season in the Championship for Leeds. Recent form for the Yorkshire side is the reason for this situation with just four points from their last six games. Home form remains decent with four wins out of the last six with just two goals conceded but the defeat by Wolves was a hammer blow to their play-off hopes. Norwich City were top of the league in the early part of the season but have been so inconsistent since then. They are eighth in the table and that's the highest they can hope for as they trail seventh placed Leeds by 10 points. 16 league defeats this season and 44 games have produced 144 goals. They have lost 12 away league games and normally I'd tip Leeds to win this but they just aren't handling pressure well at present. A bet on both teams to score looks the safest way to get a win.
