Leeds vs Middlesbrough Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Third placed Leeds United begin the weekend seven points behind the automatic promotion places. They host Middlesbrough who are seven places and eight points behind their opponents. The Whites were in action in midweek and had a 3-1 home win over Swansea City. They conceded a goal in the very first minute but equalized three minutes later and went on to win the game. That success extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to five games with four of them ending in victory. United are the only club in the Championship yet to lose a home league game. Six of their nine home league fixtures have been won this season. They drew each of their first three games at Elland Road but the win over Swansea City was their sixth in a row. Of those six home victories, the last four have all seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Like their opponents, Middlesbrough made a less than satisfactory start to the new season. They have improved though and a form guide for the last ten games has them in eigth place. That form guide actually has their opponents in top spot. Boro also won in midweek, beating Preston North End 4-0 at home. That win followed a 3-2 loss last weekend away at Bristol City. They went 2-0 down in that game, levelled the scores but again went behind in the second half. Middlesbrough have won three of their nine away league games this season but lost four. Only one point has been earned from the last two and we tip Leeds United to get the win here with both teams scoring.
