Leeds United have had a good run lately and look assured of a mid-table finish in the Premier League. They will be at home against Manchester United on Sunday hoping to improve on their tally of 46 points in 10th place. Among Leeds United’s last five matches, they have met Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. Now comes Manchester United, and after draws with Chelsea and Liverpool then the win over City, Leeds will be very confident. They are unbeaten in the last five matches, with three wins in there but while they’ve had the best season among the promoted sides, they’ve conceded the most goals in the top 12 of the league standings. They haven’t had a clean sheet in their last four matches and it will be harder in defence with Liam Cooper still suspended. At home, they have one loss and three wins in the last six league matches, and won just six of their 16 this season. Against Manchester United in the earlier meeting this season, Leeds had a poor start, conceding twice in the opening three minutes, and went on to lose 6-2. This time they will be hoping for a better show.

Manchester United are second in the standings with 66 points, 11 behind Manchester City. They go to this game with five straight wins in the league, most recently the 3-1 win over Burnley, as Mason Greenwood continued with his fine run. The England forward has now scored four goals in the last three league matches and United have scored two or more in four of the last five matches. Each of their last three matches has hit over 2.5 goals but they have no clean sheet in any, after coming from behind in two of the three. In their last five league matches United have scored 11 goals; 10 of these have come in the second half. They’ll be favorites here, going by their away run, being unbeaten in 17 away league games this season, winning 10 of them. They however have four draws in the last six away league matches.
