It's a massive game for both Leeds United and Fulham as they chase a return to the Premier League. United are second in the Championship, seven points clear of their opponents who are third. The top two go up automatically and a win for Leeds in this game will see them at least eight points clear of third with just seven games remaining. United were in a great position last season but form dipped towards the end of the season and they lost in the play-offs. They don't want a repeat of that this season but lost their first game back when going down 2-0 at Cardiiff City. Now they face this vital home match against Fulham and will look to make it four straight league wins at Elland Road. The last three have all been won without a goal being conceded. United have won 11 home league games this season, with only 13 goals conceded. That's the joint best home defensive record in the Championship.

Fulham were relegated from the Premier League last season. They have been in the top positions all season but face a major battle to win automatic promotion. The weekend saw them lose 2-0 at home to fellow promotion-chasers Brentford. That's only a single point from their last two league games, so improvement is needed. They have won 12 at home in the Championship and have the best home record in the division. It's a different story on the road though with only six wins. Eight have been drawn and that includes the last three. None of those were against sides currently in the play-off positions. Leeds know just how important this game is for their promotion hopes. They have to avoid defeat at worse but a win will take them a huge step towards promotion. Go for a home win here.
