Arsenal travel to Elland Road to take on a Leeds team that were just humiliated 7-0 against leaders Manchester City. Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping for a strong response from his side, as Leeds have now slipped down to 16th in the table and suddenly find themselves in a relegation scrap. The Gunners previous match was a highly impressive 2-0 home victory over West Ham, a match in which they were dominant - only allowing one shot on goal and creating the much better chances. The result has seen Mikel Arteta’s side leapfrog the Hammers into fourth place, 1 point ahead of Moyes’ team and two points ahead of Manchester United, who have a game in hand. 

Leeds are suffering this campaign with their growing injury list a key reason why. Bielsa is currently without Philipps, Rodrigo, Bamford and Cooper - all key members of the squad, and their return for the Arsenal match is unlikely. Kalvin Phillips, in particular, is a huge miss to the Leeds midfield and since his absence they have conceded 10 goals in two matches. This is a case of two teams headed in opposite directions and Arsenal, for all their struggles and criticisms this season, find themselves in the top four.
