Lecce have had a nightmare couple of league games and are in 16th place in Serie A. They look for improvement when hosting AC Milan who are seventh in the table, only one place below the final Europa League qualifying position. Lecce start the weekend only three points above the relegation zone and have lost their last two league games. They haven't just lost them but conceded 11 goals in those two matches. Firstly, they lost 4-0 at Roma and then had a disastrous 7-2 home loss to Atalanta. That's taken them up to 56 league goals conceded this season, ten more than any other side in Serie A. Before that they had won three straight league games but have returned to the form that saw them earn two points from eight matches in December and January. It took them until February to get a home win on their return to Serie A after a gap of seven years. They had wins over Torino and SPAL, both of whom are struggling for form at present.

AC Milan had a poor start to the season but are now battling to get into the Europa League. Only one of their last eight league games has been lost, a 4-2 away defeat to Inter Milan. They have won two of their last four away league games. The most recent one saw them draw 1-1 at Fiorentina after taking a first half lead. Six of their 13 away games in Serie A this season have been won. Up against a struggling Lecce side, AC Milan can get away win number seven.
