Lebanon vs China PR Prediction & Betting Tips - Asian Cup

The second round of matches in the AFC Asian Cup will get underway, with Lebanon taking on China on Wednesday afternoon. Lebanon are currently at the bottom of the group standings, while China are second. Lebanon got their Asian Cup campaign started on the opening day when they took on the host nation Qatar. Unfortunately, they were no match for the heavily fancied home side and were fairly comprehensively beaten 3-0. However, there were several positives that Miodrag Radulovic would have taken from that match. Key among which, would have been that while his side struggled to create many real clear-cut chances, they were quite good in transition and managed five shots on target on the break, which is the same tally that their opponents posted. The Cedars have now won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions and failed to score in the last two, which sees them enter this one as the underdogs. 

Meanwhile, China PR had won their opening match in each of the last four Asian Cup competitions but were unable to keep that record going as they played out a stalemate against Tajikistan in their tournament opener. And, in fairness, The Crowns were a little unlucky not to have gotten more from that match as they were by far the more attacking side and managed a whopping 20 shots in the match compared to China’s ten. Despite that result, China will also have taken positives from their first match as they did have the ball in the back of the net before it was ruled out for offside. They also created the more clear-cut chances but were thwarted by an inspired Tajikistan goalkeeper. China PR are now winless in their last three matches in all competitions but are the second-highest ranked side in this group, nine places above their opponents in this match.
