Lazio’s place in the top two of the Italian Serie A is under a new threat and they will hope to strengthen their grip when hosting Torino in their next league game. Heading into this game, Lazio are 14 points behind the league leaders, Napoli but Torino are further back, 11 points outside European football places. Lazio’s ambitions in the season are threatened by the decision to temporarily award Juventus’ 15 points back, and they now have a two-point gap ahead of Juventus.
