Lazio begin this game second in the group with six points from three games. They lead third-placed Marseille by five points and a win here will end the French side's hopes of qualifying. Lazio have so far beaten Apollon Limassol 2-1 at home, suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at group leaders Eintracht Frankfurt (who have won all three of their games) and then won 3-1 at Marseille. Lazio have won four of their last five games and won five out of the last six at home. Europa League form sees them unbeaten in their last seven at home with only one loss in the last 12. They come into this game on the back of a 4-1 home win over SPAL taking them to fifth in Serie A.

Marseille need to get a win from this game and even a draw will see them needing to win their final two games and hope Lazio lose their final two. They aren't in good form though with three straight losses, the most recent being a 3-0 defeat at Montpellier. So far in this group, they took an early lead at home to Eintracht Frankfurt before losing 3-1 and then drew 2-2 at Apollon Limassol. They really should have won that game as they led 2-0 with 16 minutes to go and conceded a 90th minute equalizer. That disappointment was followed by the home loss to Lazio leaving them third in the group with just one point. Away form isn't promising with only one win in the last five and just one victory in their last 11 away Europa League matches. The confident bet here is on a Lazio home win.
