Two Italian giants clash on Sunday when Inter Milan visit the Stadio Olimpico to take on Lazio in Serie A. Lazio, who finished fourth in the league last season, endured mixed fortunes in the opening two rounds. A solid 2-0 win at Cagliari was the perfect start but they followed it up with a 4-1 home defeat to Atalanta on the following matchday. It leaves them 10th in the table. Inter Milan, who finished a point behind champions Juventus last season, have a perfect record thus far, stringing two high-scoring victories together. The first was a narrow snatch-and-grab 4-3 home win over Fiorentina, while the second was much more convincing, a 5-2 triumph at Benevento. Star forwards Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez are both off the mark with three and two goals respectively. Lazio striker Ciro Immobile beat both to the top scorer trophy in Serie A last season. He scored one goal in the opening victory. 

Lazio had the better of Inter Milan in recent meetings, emerging as winners in three of the last four. Despite the firepower each team has in their attack, the net rarely bulges when these sides lock horns. Three of the last four meetings featured two goals or fewer. The way Inter have started the campaign, it's hard to not see them scoring. And the way Lazio defended against Atalanta, it's difficult to not see them shipping at least one goal. Not that Inter can look down upon them - they've conceded a goal more thus far. Lazio sent Inter home empty-handed on the last occasion they visited but the Nerazzurri claimed victory on their three previous trips there. There have been at least three goals in 12 of Inter's last 15 league matches. We see three or more being scored here too.
