Inter Milan have their first big test of the season when they head to Rome to face Lazio in Match Week 3 of the Italian Serie A. Both sides are still unbeaten after two games, Lazio being eighth with four points and Inter Milan joint top on six points. One area of concern for the hosts going into this game will be the attack. Lazio did open with a 2-1 win over Bologna but they failed to score in the second league game, drawing 0-0 with Torino. That was the third game in four that they failed to score, coming right from preseason. They will however be banking on their scoring form at home in the league, which has seen them net in each of the last five. However, they have just one clean sheet in the five home games in the league. Both teams have scored in four of their five league games at home and in their last five meetings with Inter, both teams have scored as well.

Inter Milan have had a good start to the season and while they had a few jitters in the opening game as they needed a last minute winner, in their second game they were very comfortable. They are coming from a 3-0 win over Spezia and will be targeting a third straight victory here. One attribute they are going to bank on is their scoring form; in each of the last four matches, Inter have managed to score two or more goals. However, they have posted just one clean sheet in their last five matches, a run in which they have also failed to score in one game. With just one loss in 15 away games in Serie A, Inter will have no jitters going into this game, though in their last away trip to Lazio, they lost 3-1. They have four wins in the last five away league matches, and both teams have scored in these five matches, Inter scoring two or more goals in four of them.
