Lazio will host Genoa on Match Day 2 of the Italian Serie A, both looking to bounce back from opening defeats. Going into this game, Lazio are 13th in the standings, and Genoa 19th, separated by goal difference. Lazio started well in their game against Lecce, but conceded two late goals to lose 2-1. In the last three league meetings, Genoa suffered losses, conceding three or more in each. This, in addition to a poor Serie A away run, doesn’t place them on a very strong pedestal.
