Sixth placed Lazio can close to within two points of Atalanta in third if they can win this Serie A game. It's a match that should see a few goals scored in it. Between them, there have been a total of 47 goals scored in their 14 league games this season. Lazio have won three of their seven games in Serie A this season. They are unbeaten at home with two wins (over Parma and Genoa, both in the bottom half of the table) and a 1-1 draw with AS Roma. You have to go back to October of last year for the last time they failed to score in a home league game. The following 17 matches have seen them score with 12 of them seeing both teams hit the back of the net.

Atalanta are third in the table and only three points behind the league leaders Juventus. They may be struggling in the Champions League (and will likely continue to do so with a trip to Manchester City up next) but they are doing well in Serie A. Their only loss so far has been a 3-2 home defeat by Torino. The goals have been flying in at both ends of the pitch with 28 being scored in seven matches. They have scored in each of their last seven away matches played in Serie A including a 3-1 win at Lazio in May. Eight of their last ten away league games has seen both teams score. Go for that stat to come up again in what should be an open game.
