Las Palmas vs Lugo Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga 2

Las Palmas are nine points above the relegation zone but the same number of points behind the final promotion play-off place. Currently 13th, they host Lugo who are two places and four points below them. The home side have only won one of their last five league games with a win, two draws and two defeats. They had to come from behind to get a draw in their last match away to Tenerife, who are just above them in the table. Home form for Las Palmas has produced only two defeats in the last eight but only a point from the last two. A late equalizer was needed to get a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano. They led against Girona but lost that one 2-1, so they need a win to boost their faint promotion hopes. Three of their last five at home and the last four at all venues have seen both teams score.

Lugo need the points too but to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle. They are only five points above the drop zone and have gone nine league games without a win. A form guide for the last ten league games has them one from bottom with eight points out of 30. They've gone five at home without a win and failed to score in the last three.  Away form is a nightmare too with no wins in the last 11. At least they score on the road though and each of the last five has seen both teams score. If Las Palmas were in better form we'd tip them to win. A bet on both teams to score looks a winning one.
