Mamelodi Sundowns’ momentum in the Premier Soccer League has slowed down after their confirmation as South Africa’s champions for the sixth time. With 61 points in the bag, they will be traveling to seventh placed Golden Arrows who are on 32 points, eight above the drop zone. Continental football remains a bit too far for Golden Arrows at the moment, but they can take encouragement at being eight points ahead of the relegation spots. They are coming from a run of three matches unbeaten and have also kept three clean sheets in that period; the three matches have all ended in under 2.5 goals. In their last five matches they’ve failed to score once – a 0-0 draw with Sekhukhune United. Arrows will be looking to take advantage of Sundowns’ slowed momentum, to bag themselves three key points as they seek a high finish.
