Konyaspor vs Kayserispor Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Two sides at opposite ends of the Super Lig will face off this weekend, with Konyaspor playing host to Kayserispor on Sunday. The hosts are currently 17th in the league standings, while the visitors are third. It has been a tremendous fall from grace for Konyaspor this season. They managed a top-half finish last term but are firmly in a relegation scrap in the current campaign. The hosts have taken just 15 points from 16 matches so far, with a record of three wins, six draws, and seven losses. The Anatolian Eagles played out a 1-1 draw to fellow relegation candidates Samsunspor in the week. That result extended their recent winless run to three matches, while they have only tasted victory once in their last 12 league games. At home, Konyaspor have won one of their last five while losing three and drawing one in that time. However, they have not been beaten in their last eight matches against this opponent and cannot be ruled out of this contest just yet. 

Meanwhile, in complete contrast, Kayserispor are having a dream season so far. They have taken 29 points from their first 16 games and are three points ahead of Trabzonspor in fourth place. The visitors have a record of eight wins, five draws and three losses this season. The Anatolian Stars come into this match off the back of an almighty battle, where they ended on the wrong side of a 4-3 scoreline against Fenerbahce in midweek. That loss snapped up a run of three consecutive wins in all competitions and an unbeaten run of ten games. Kayserispor struggled on the road early this season and failed to win any of their first five away matches. However, since beating Hatayspor 2-1 at the end of October, they have remained flawless and are carrying a three-match winning streak into this one. But, despite this, the bookmakers have them down as the outsiders in this contest.
