Konyaspor vs Istanbul Basaksehir Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Istanbul Baseksehir can take one step closer to winning their first Turkish title with a victory at Konyaspor in the Super Lig on Monday night. The league leaders are four points clear of Trabzonspor with three games left to play. Konyaspor, battling desperately against relegation, are in 16th, the final relegation place, only one point away from safety. Istanbul have performed brilliantly since returning to action, winning four of their five Super Lig matches. The only game that they didn't win was a home draw against Galatasaray, a respectable result against one of Turkey's traditional powerhouses. Konyaspor's June could have gone better. They were winless in three games, but, silver lining outlook, they only lost one of those outings. Their first game of July was a win over fellow strugglers Rizespor, who are a point and a place behind them in the table. That victory came at the Konya Büyükşehir Arena, where Konyaspor have been in good form in recent months. There, they are unbeaten in five of their last six matches and two of their last three results have been wins, including an impressive 1-0 victory over Fenerbahce. 

Istanbul have the second-best away record in the division, inferior only to Trabzonspor. Lately, they have found a good run of form when it comes to matches on the road, winning four of their last five. Matches against Konyaspor haven't been straightforward in recent seasons and Istanbul have failed to win three of their last six encounters with the minnows. The table-toppers have only scored more than two goals once in their last six away matches so we don't expect a pummeling. In fact, Istanbul have been drawing at half-time before going on to win in three of their last six matches and we see this encounter going the same way.
