Relegation-threatened Koln will look to shorten the gap to safety as they host sixth-place Eintracht Frankfurt at the RheinEnergieStadion on Saturday. It’s been a hugely disappointing campaign for FC Koln who finished seventh in 2021/22 and 11th last season. They now find themselves in a relegation scrap as they currently occupy 16th-place on a total of 12 points. They currently trail fifth-place Leipzig by just two points and fourth-place Dortmund by five points. The visitors strength this season has been their ironclad defense which has allowed just 22 goals. Their six clean sheets so far this season is the fourth most in the Bundesliga.
