KKS Lech Poznan vs Rangers Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Steven Gerrard takes his Rangers team to Poland this week for a UEFA Europa League clash at Lech Poznan in Group D. The Scottish side are top of the group with 11 points from five matches, their superior head-to-head record putting them above second-placed Benfica. Poznan are level on three points with Standard Liege, but they benefit from a more emphatic win in their two clashes with the Belgian side and thus sit third. The reverse fixture between Rangers and Poznan saw the Polish side suffer a narrow 1-0 defeat in Glasgow, Alfredo Morelos getting the only goal of the game. Rangers are flying both at home and abroad at the minute. Enjoying their best start to a league season in more than 50 years, they currently have a 13-point lead over bitter rivals Celtic. Unbeaten in the Europa League this season, they have won six of their eight games in the continental competition. This streak combined with their undefeated domestic run means that Rangers have not lost any of their last 24 games in all competitions. With top spot in the group still at stake, we don't see Gerrard allowing his players to take their feet off the gas.

Poznan have only won two of their last six matches in all competitions. While this record is nothing to shout about, their home record is worthy enough to note. They are unbeaten in 11 of their last 13 matches at the INEA Stadium, including a 3-1 win over Standard in their most recent home UEL game. Nine of their previous ten UEL matches have featured three or more goals. We wouldn't bet against a high-scoring game, but ultimately we feel that backing Rangers is the safest wager.
