Kilmarnock vs Rangers Prediction & Betting Tips - Scottish Premiership

Rangers have had a busy pre-season with a mixture of friendlies and Europa League qualifying games. They drew 0-0 at Progres Neiderkorn on Thursday evening to reach the third qualifying round. In four games in that competition this season, Rangers are yet to concede a goal. Their friendly games have seen them go unbeaten with wins over Olympique Marseille (4-0), Oxford United (5-0) and Derby County (1-0). Their other friendly was a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers. Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership last season. They had won six league games in a row before their final day loss to Kilmarnock. Only three of their last 15 away league games were lost but Kilmarnock managed to beat them twice and get two draws at Ibrox Park.

That last day win for Kilmarnock was an important one as it clinched a Europa League place for them. They had a disastrous campaign though being knocked out in the first qualifying round by Welsh side Connah's Quay. They won the away leg 2-1 and should have wrapped the tie up on home soil. However, they lost that second leg 2-0 and were knocked out of the competition. Two friendlies have produced a draw and a defeat so not a great start to the season. There has  been talk of unrest at the club, though this has been denied by their bosses. After a poor few weeks, it seems the bet here has to one on a Rangers victory.
