Bandari FC will have the second of their three straight away matches this Wednesday when they face Police FC in Nairobi. These two sides are two places apart, Police third and Bandari in fifth place. Police are coming from a 2-2 draw away to Muranga Seal, which saw them fall four points behind second placed Tusker. Being six points ahead of their next opponent with two games to go, and a superior goal difference, Police have all but secured third place. Police suffered their first ever loss to Bandari in their last outing, falling 3-2 to the Dockers in Mombasa in November. They will have all their guns trained on avenging that loss here. It lines up well for Salim Babu’s side that their final two league games will be at home, where they’ve done well. In their last 12 home matches in all competitions, they lost just once, and won 10.

Bandari’s final three league matches were lined up to be away from home. They already lost the first, falling 2-1 to Tusker FC in their last outing. While that was only their third loss in 11 matches, Bandari have now failed to win any of their last eight matches. The coastal side is seriously running out of steam and now only a point separates them from the eighth placed team. With a loss here, Bandari could find themselves as low as ninth, and that should be enough to cause John Baraza sleepless nights. An accomplished forward at his time, Baraza is definitely concerned that his team has failed to score in five of the last eight matches. That’s not to mention that they only have one clean sheet in the last four away matches. Bandari haven't had it easy on their travels, winning just four of their last 14 away matches. In this context, playing their last two matches away from home doesn’t look so rosy.
