Juventus will be looking to get back to within two points off leaders Inter Milan as they host giantkiller Sassuolo in the last match of this round. This Serie A matchday 20 will be played at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday. The hosts are 2nd in the standings with 46 points while the visitors are 14th with 19 points. Juventus started the round two points behind Inter, but with Inter defeating Monza 5-1 over the weekend, they will start this match five points behind. Recent form has been impressive, giving hope that they can get back to bridging that gap. Juventus have won 13 of their last 16 matches in all competitions, drawing the other three. Even in the league, they are in top form, winning 11 and drawing three of their last 14 matches. Their only loss of the league campaign came against Sassuolo though, and this game won’t be straightforward.

Sassuolo start this round perilously close to the relegation zone as only two points separate them from the bottom-three. That is quite a fall for a side that won against Juventus and Inter in consecutive rounds back in September. They are also coming off a win, a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina in their first match of the calendar year. It is surprising that three of their five wins have come against the current top-four sides, which clearly suggests that consistency has been a problem. Yet, discounting them out completely will be a potential hazard for the Old Lady, who have lost three of the last five Serie A head-to-heads including the last two. That would take a lot from Sassuolo though, as they have won just one of their last six away league games, losing three and drawing two.
