Juventus begin the new year fifth in Serie A. They host Napoli who are third place and five points above them. A title challenge looks out of the question for Juventus who are 12 points behind Inter. Finishing in the top four is their main priority and they currently are currently four points behind Atalanta who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot. Juventus ended a patchy 2021 in good form with an unbeaten run of six league and cup games. In Serie A, six of the last eight have been won, with only one loss to Atalanta. Home form has seen three league games lost this season but three of the last four have been won, all with clean sheets.

Napoli got off to an excellent start this season but are down in third now. If Inter win at Bologna earlier in the day, Napoli will be 10 points behind the league leaders. They are three points adrift of Milan in second, they host Roma before this game is played. Getting something from this match is important then or their title challenge will become a far more difficult one. Napoli aren't in great form though Only four points have been earned from their last five Serie A fixtures. That has them 16th in a form guide for the last five matches played. Three of their last four Serie A fixtures have been lost. The other saw them win 1-0 at Milan, so they are still a very dangerous side. Only two of the last five away league games have been won though. Juventus is not a happy hunting ground though, with nine of the last ten league visits being lost. Juventus have improved after a slow start to the season. Go for them to get a home win.
