After a terrible start to the season, Juventus retained their Serie A title winning the league by nine points. AC Milan had a disappointing end to the season and finished in seventh outside of the Europa League places. Not since 2003 have Milan won the Italian Cup and they face a massive task in getting the better of Juventus here. The league champions did lose a match to bottom of the table Verona recently but ended the season with a crushing 5-0 home win over Sampdoria. That left them with 69 points out of the last 75, an incredible record considering they only got five points from their first five league games. They beat Milan twice in the league this season so can their opponents possibly avoid a third straight loss this season to the champions?  Milan only managed ten points from their last ten league games so it's really difficult to see how they can beat Juventus in this cup final. They certainly had a much easier route to the final beating third-tier side Alessandria in the semi-final after a home quarter final win over Carpi who ended up being relegated from Serie A this season. A win for Juventus is my tip here.
