Lecce have a tough run of matches as the Serie A takes shape following a three-month break and they have a tough away trip to Juventus this Friday. Ahead of the game, Juventus top the standings with 66 points while Lecce have so far managed 25 points, in 18th place. Juventus have had a rough run in the Coppa Italia, failing to score against Milan and going on to lose to Napoli in the final. In both matches they didn’t score, but they recovered to beat Bologna 2-0 in their first Serie A match. Lecce on the other hand seem primed for relegation after 4-1 loss to AC Milan – their third straight loss in the league. Juventus have played a game more than second placed Lazio. With a four-point lead, they will want to take advantage of playing one of the weakest sides in the league. They may have struggled a bit in the past few matches but Juventus have not conceded in four straight matches across all competitions. They have a great run at home too, unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions and seven of them wins. Juventus are unbeaten in 13 home matches in Serie A and have scored two goals or more in 12 of those. Nine of their 13 home matches have ended in over 2.5 goals and have the second best defensive run in the league.

Lecce on the other hand, have been conceding heavily in their recent matches. They shipped four goals in their last match, making it 15 goals conceded in the last three matches. They have no clean sheet in the last five matches and in four of them they have conceded two goals or more. In 15 Serie A matches, they have managed just four wins and two clean sheets. They have conceded two or more in 10 of the 15 matches. Most of their wins this season have however come away from home – four of the six they have managed. Lecce have lost four of their last five away matches, and failed to score in four of the five. They have conceded at least two goals in each of the last five away league matches and four of the five have all ended in over 2.5 goals.
