Juventus vs Dynamo Kyiv Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Champions League Predictions
By their high standards, Juventus are not having a good season and they hit a new low after struggling to a 1-1 draw with Benevento on Saturday in Serie A. They will be hoping for better times when they host Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League this Wednesday in Turin. Juventus have already secured their place in the second round, having garnered nine points in Group G while Dynamo Kyiv, who are third with one point, will be vying for a Europa League place. Even though they have advanced to the next stage, Juventus will not be entirely happy with their performance in the competition so far. They have played second fiddle to Barcelona in the group, losing at home to the Catalans and keeping just one clean sheet in the four matches played so far. In the Serie A, they have lacked their characteristic killer instinct, and after nine matches, they are placed fourth, six points below leaders Milan. On Saturday, they missed Cristiano Ronaldo, who was apparently rested after a minor injury scare and they lacked a cutting edge, while a frustrated Alvaro Morata was red carded after the game. Even with all their failings this season, Juventus are going to the Kyiv game unbeaten in their last six matches, just that they have only two clean sheets in their last 10 matches. The 2-0 loss to Barcelona on Match Day 2 is their only loss in the 13 matches they have played this season. In the Champions League, their only clean sheet in the last six matches came in this season’s Match Day 1 clash with Dynamo Kyiv as they won 2-0 away in Ukraine. They have failed to score twice in the run of six matches in this competition. At home, they have seven wins in the last 10 in the Champions League, and lost three. They have failed to score in one of the 10 and in five they have scored two or more, while keeping four clean sheets in the 10.
Dynamo Kyiv, on the other hand, head to this game on three losses in their last five matches. They had a better outing than Juventus in their last game, beating Vorskla 2-0 in the Ukrainian league, though they had a man sent off late in the game. With the win, they stayed top of their domestic league but in the Champions League, it is bound to get harder. The team is playing for a third placed finish and will hope at the least to match Ferencvaros’ result when the Hungarians meet Barcelona. Dynamo Kyiv have no clean sheet in this group and in the four matches they have shipped in 10 goals while their three goals have come from two matches. In the last seven matches, they have two clean sheets and have conceded two goals or more in four of the seven but they have failed to score in just three of their last 16 matches. The Ukrainians have no win in four Champions League matches and away from home, they have one win in the last 11 matches in the competition. In the last seven away matches in the competition, they have no clean sheet but have scored in five of six.

Our Juventus vs Dynamo Kyiv Prediction
Juventus have nothing to play for in this game but after their lackluster performance against Benevento in the Serie A on Saturday, they will want to give a response here. They face a side that needs a win to boost their chances of staying in Europe. The visitors have not done well in the Champions League in recent times, and it has been even tougher for them away from home. However, there’s an aspect about them that can’t be ignored – they have scored in five of their last six away matches in the Champions League. They meet a Juventus side with two clean sheets in the last 10 matches, and none in the last three Champions League matches. With Juventus’ returns in defence, we are backing the visitors to score but in Juventus’ home form in this competition, a win for them looks very likely here. With both sides backed to score, a bet of over 2.5 goals looks good on this.
