Juventus will hope to turn a new leaf under Thiago Motta as they start their 2024–25 Serie A campaign against the newly promoted Como. This interesting Serie A match will be played at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Monday, with goals likely to come at a premium.
The Old Lady finished last season third in the league and won the Coppa Italia competition, but had a turbulent campaign nonetheless. Cesc Fàbregas has been named the manager, and the likes of Raphaël Varane have been added to the squad, although the former Manchester United defender has been injured 23 minutes into his club debut. That was in a defeat to Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia, which came via penalties after they had two wins and a draw from four pre-season friendly matches.
