This is what the Champions League is all about as the very best sides in Europe face each other.  Juventus and Bayern Munich won Serie A and the Bundesliga last season and top their tables again this season. Two very different stories though for how they reached the top this season. Juventus had an appalling start to their title defence with just five points from their first six games. Last week they beat league leaders Napoli 1-0 to go top of the table and have 52 points from their last 60 and have won their last 13 league and cup games with eight consecutive clean sheets. Champions League form has been good too with no goals conceded at home in the qualifying group and wins home and away against Manchester City. They have only lost two of their last 45 home European ties but both of those defeats just happened to be against Bayern Munich. The Germans are well clear at the top of the Bundesliga again this season. They may well be losing their boss at the end of the season but they should end the season with some silverware. There have been some convincing wins in the Champions League this season with 19 goals scored but they did lose 2-0 at Arsenal so they can be beaten. Juventus have a great defence so I think this will be a tight game and a bet on under 2.5 goals being scored looks a good bet here.
