Juventus will be at home to take on AC Milan in the penultimate round of the Italian Serie A. With two rounds left to play, Milan come to this match in fourth place while Juventus are down in seventh. Juventus’ hopes of qualifying for the Champions League suffered a huge blow a week ago with the club being deducted 10 points. The deduction, due to false accounting of the sale of their players, left Juve five points adrift of the top four. Massimiliano Allegri’s men are however almost certain of finishing in the top seven and qualifying for Europe. They have a six-point cushion on the two teams below them. A superior goal difference to boot means that they can still qualify even if they lose their remaining two matches. They come to their final home match of the season having lost their last two fixtures. The Bianconeri lost 4-1 away to Empoli last time out after being eliminated from the Europa League. The Old Lady has lost only one of the last 13 matches at home with nine of those ending in victory. This form will have them confident of ending a four-match run without a win in this fixture.

AC Milan will seek to confirm top four by avoiding defeat here. Only Juventus are still in play in the Champions League race. Atalanta and Roma relinquished their pursuits after failing to win their respective matches on Saturday. Stefano Pioli’s men ended a three-match losing streak with a thumping 5-1 win over relegated Sampdoria last time out. That run saw them eliminated from the Champions League in the semifinals stage by rivals Inter. It has been a season of ups and downs for the Rossoneri. They have salvaged their campaign in the second half of the season. Now just need a point from their last two matches to secure top four for the third successive season. Milan have been poor away from home. But having avoided defeat in three of their last five away matches, they can be confident of stifling Juventus here. Milan will then wrap up their season with a home game against Verona as Juventus finish away at Udinese.
