Juventus had a torrid season last term and haven’t started too well this season. They are on a quest to put things right when they host AC Milan in their next Serie A match. After three league games, Juventus have just one point and are placed 16th in the standings while Milan have nine points, in second place. Juventus managed to secure their first win of the season, away to Malmo in the Champions League and that should give them the impetus going to this clash. They have two straight losses in Serie A and conceded two goals in two of their three league matches. The win over Malmo presented their first clean sheet of the season but they’ve failed to score in just one game this season. In 17 straight league matches, Juventus have no clean sheet and both teams have scored in eight of their last 10 matches. In their last meeting with Milan, Juventus lost 3-0 at home and they go to this game with two losses in three league games at home.

On the flipside, Milan lost their first game of the season on Wednesday, as they fell 3-2 at Anfield against Liverpool in the Champions League. Earlier they had three straight wins in Serie A but they will be glad at their numbers in attack, having scored two or more in the last three games. They go to this game with two clean sheets in the opening four games and are in much better shape compared to Juventus. Milan take to this game a run of eight matches unbeaten in Serie A, with seven clean sheets and seven wins in there. In their last league game, they outclassed Lazio 2-0, and have failed to score in just two of their last 10 league matches. Away from home, they are unbeaten in four league games, those coming with four clean sheets and they have two wins in three matches against Juventus.
