In AFCON qualifiers, they are unbeaten in the last two matches but they have won just one of their last six. In their last 15 AFCON qualification matches, Niger have lost nine and won just three. Away from home in AFCON qualifiers, Niger have managed just one win in 17 matches, and lost 14. Niger beat Ivory Coast 2-0 in September but in that game only home based players were cleared.
