Al Ittihad return home after their international outing and will host Al Raed on Saturday in the Saudi Pro League. They arrive for this match while fifth in the standings, 15 points clear of bottom-placed Al Raed. Al Ittihad have in the last week or so been competing in the FIFA Club World Cup as Saudi Arabia’s representatives. The tournament is being held in the country. They made it to the second round and will now hope to use that momentum to get back to winning ways in the league. The Tigers, who have a game in hand, were defeated 3-1 away to Damak before switching their attention to the Club World Cup. Al Ittihad exited the global showpiece after losing 3-1 to Egypt’s Al Ahly. A win here could see them move to within three points of the Champions League places.
