Italy are out of the top ten in the FIFA rankings and will be keen to get a good result here against third ranked Spain.  They are climbing back up the rankings after dropping to an all-time low position of 15th after that disappointing World Cup campaign in 2014. Euro qualification went ok though and they'll be hopeful of a good campaign in France this summer. Form in friendlies isn't that inspiring with losses to Belgium and Portugal last year where they face Belgium, Ireland and Sweden in their group. Spain are reigning European Champions and won all their matches last year apart from a 2-0 defeat away to the Netherlands in a friendly. They'll be among the favourites to win Euro 2016 and certainly have the squad to do so. This should be a high-class friendly and difficult to predict. Looking at the record of both sides I think there might not be that many goals scored here so I go for under 2.5 goals as the best bet.
