Italy vs Bosnia Herzegovina Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro
by Donal Kearns | in Euro Predictions
With three wins from three under their belt, Italy are out to continue their perfect start on Tuesday. However, they’re going up against a Bosnia team who are in a tricky position. The visitors need to turn things around following a weekend defeat, which has opened up the group and allowed Italy to steal a march on the other sides. With a tight battle now expected for second place, the Bosnians can ill-afford another loss in this group when they make the trip to Turin for this clash. Italy aren’t going to miss out on back to back tournaments it seems, as they’re progressing nicely towards Euro 2020. The hosts were brimming with confidence following their 3-0 victory at Greece on Saturday, a result which has sent them clear at the top. Now Italy’s new stars are shining and the old guard are claiming that Roberto Mancini could have taken them to the 2018 World Cup if he had the opportunity. However, will this rare Italian harmony last? Bosnia were beaten 2-0 by Finland on Saturday, with that defeat leaving them in third behind the Finns at this early stage. However, Bosnia could all even further this week, as Finland and Greece each have winnable games while they are busy in Italy. The way that the sides are scrapping for second works out for Italy, but it means that Bosnia face a tough Autumn run-in when they come face to face with their rivals. Bosnia’s troubles are likely to get worse this week, as Italy are heavy favourites following their form so far. It’s hard to argue with what Roberto Mancini has done with Italy. His team have racked up 11 goals and conceded none in this group so far, which continues their great record of late. Mancini’s men have now kept six clean sheets on the bounce, so he’s restored their defensive edge while all the focus has been on renovating and improving the attack.

Our Italy vs Bosnia Herzegovina Prediction
Italy have kept four clean sheets at home, while Bosnia have failed to score in four straight away games. We doubt that Roma forward Edin Dzeko will come as too much of a surprise to the Italian defence, neither will Juventus playmaker Miralem Pjanic. We expect the Italians to shut down the visitors and claim another positive result. We’re backing Italy to win to nil in this clash, as the Mancini bounce continues.
