It's been a sad week for Manchester United with the death of Nobby Stiles and sad news about Sir Bobby Charlton. They can put a smile on their face with a third straight win in the Champions League away at bottom of the table Istanbul Basaksehir. Both those legends won the European Cup with United in 1968 and the club have made the best possible start to their 2020/21 campaign. They won 2-1 away at PSG and then hammered RB Leipzig 5-0 last week. With two of their final four games against Istanbul Basaksehir, a place in the last sixteen is looking very likely. Four of their last six away games in this competition have been won, including two wins at PSG and a victory over Juventus.

Istanbul Basaksehir are in their first Champions League group and were given a nightmare draw. That combined with a poor start to the defence of their Turkish Super Lig has made life difficult so far this season. Domestic form has improved with three straight wins but they are still six points behind the leaders and played a game more. Form in this Champions League group hasn't been good either. They have lost to both Leipzig and PSG 2-0 and even finishing third in this group looks impossible with trips to PSG and Manchester United to come. They will try their heart out to get back into contention but an away win is the tip for this game.
