Istanbul Basaksehir vs Leipzig Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Istanbul Basaksehir welcome RB Leipzig to the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium on Wednesday night for a Group H match in the UEFA Champions League. All four teams in the group can still potentially go through. Basaksehir are fourth with three points from four games, their only positive result coming in their last home fixture, a 2-1 win over Manchester United. RB Leipzig are third in the group after picking up six points from their four outings. They currently trail second-placed PSG on goal difference. These two clubs last met on the opening night of the UCL campaign, Angelino scoring twice in a 2-0 Leipzig win in Germany. Leipzig have fared well at home this season, winning their other UCL home fixture 2-1 against a PSG side that finished with nine men. The Bundesliga club are unbeaten at home this season, winning all seven of their contests at the Red Bull Arena. Away from home, they are a much less effective side. They have lost their three of their last four away games in all competitions, failing to score in three. 

Basaksehir, meanwhile, have failed to win five of their last eight home matches in all competitions. Their porous defence has been unable to keep a clean sheet for six games. At least Basaksehir, unbeaten in three of their last four home games, have been scoring at home, finding the back of the net 13 times across their previous six home clashes. We expect them to play with the handbrake off in midweek and for that to result in both teams scoring.
