Ireland certainly had to battle hard to get through to Euro 2016. A home win over Germany was the key result but they had to settle for the play-offs after losing their final game away to Poland. That took them into the play-offs where they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina with a draw away and a win at home. That loss to Poland is their only defeat in their last ten games and they'll be hard to beat in this home friendly. Switzerland finished runners-up in their group behind England who beat them home and away. Their last 13 games have seen just three defeats, those two losses to England and a loss in a friendly away to Slovakia. They did end up in that fairly easy Euro 2016 group so it's no wonder they have some decent form. Ireland had a much tougher time against Germany, Poland and Scotland and got some good wins, especially on home territory. I think they can get a home win over Switzerland here to boost their Euro 2016 preparations.
