The Republic of Ireland go into this final Group D match still in with a chance of gaining automatic qualification for the finals. They are three points behind leaders Denmark but could finish above them if winning this match. Ireland are two points behind second placed Switzerland who travel to Gibraltar and should be able to get three points from that game.
