A late goal denied Ireland a good win over the Netherlands on Friday. That maintained their strong home form with no losses since 2014. It's 12 games now since that home defeat by Germany and I don't see Belarus beating them here. Ireland have a tough draw in the European Championships having to play both Belgium and Italy so will be looking for a confidence boosting win here. Belarus are having real trouble scoring goals at present with none in the last four. Three of those have been goalless draws and then they went and lost 3-0 to Northern Ireland on Friday. Six of their last eight games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them so that heavy loss on Friday was a little bit out of character. Ireland should be able to get the win here but keep an eye on the team news as they may want to give a few other players a chance to get some time on the pitch before the European championships begin.
