Ipswich Town vs Fleetwood Town Prediction & Betting Tips - League One
by Daniel Ngulu in League One Predictions
Ipswich Town are chasing a promotion slot and they can move closer to it with a win at home when they take on Fleetwood Town in their next fixture in League One. The home team heads into this game with 41 points in the bag and are second, just two behind the league leaders Plymouth Argyle. Fleetwood, on the other hand, are 17th with 22 points. Ipswich Town recovered from their 2-0 home loss to Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy, thrashing Buxton 4-0 in the FA Cup and this is the form they will want to take to the Fleetwood game as they resume league action. A five-game unbeaten run in the league places them on a very confident footing. They’ve beaten Exeter City, Port Vale and Derby County in three of those five games, and with just one loss in nine home league games this season they will step out as favorites going into this one.
Fleetwood Town are coming from a 1-0 win over Ebbsfleet United in the FA Cup. This is the only time they have kept a clean sheet in the last five matches, but they have scored in each of those five games. On two occasions they scored more than a goal, and three of their last four games have produced over 2.5 goals. Fleetwood Town will hope to build on this win as they face Ipswich; at the moment they are just eight points above the relegation zone and will hope they can widen that gap. For that to happen, they have to improve on their league form. In their last eight league matches, Fleetwood Town have managed just one win and they have only one clean sheet in that period. They have conceded twice in each of their last two league games and away from home in the league, they have no win in the last four.

Our Ipswich Town vs Fleetwood Town Prediction
Fleetwood Town aren’t doing so well and their recent run against Ipswich hasn’t also been the best, losing each of the last three meetings. The visitors have managed just one win in the last eight league games and meeting Ipswich who have done well in the league in recent games and are also in good form at home doesn’t look good on them. Go for an Ipswich win here.
