Internacional vs Santos Prediction & Betting Tips - Brasileirão Serie A

Internacional will be in Porto Alegre to host Santos in the second week of action in the Brazilian Serie A this Friday. The two sides had mixed results in Week 1; Internacional winning 1-0 away to Coritiba to rise to fifth place as Santos drew 1-1 at home to Bragantino and finish Week 1 seventh. Paolo Guerrero scored the lone goal for Internacional in the opening week win and with no fitness issues reported from Eduardo Coudet’s team, they will hope to make it two. Internacional had a great run at home last season, winning 11 and losing twice at home and bagging 28 goals in the 19 matches played at their backyard. They have also been doing well lately, with three wins in their last five matches, having played in the Gaucho1 post lockdown. They have three clean sheets in their last five matches and have scored in four of the five. Santos on the other hand, have not enjoyed very good form lately; a late concession against Bragantino condemned them to a fifth straight winless game, having lost three of the five. With three wins in their last 11 matches, they will be the underdogs here. They have one clean sheet in their last eight matches and in the last five matches, they have conceded two or more goals in three. However, they have scored in each of their last eight matches. Santos heads to this game on two straight away losses and with just eight wins in 19 away matches last season, they will need a lot of improvement in this campaign.
