Inter Milan vs Udinese Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Round 23 of the Italian Serie A checks in this weekend with one of the matches seeing Inter Milan host Udinese at the San Siro on Saturday. Inter are second in the standings with 44 points while Udinese are seventh with 30 points. Despite being the second-best team in the league, Inter seem resigned to the fact that their best finish this season won’t be higher than second with Napoli already with a healthy 15-point cushion at the top. To finish second though they will have to continue putting up wins in their column, as the rest of the top six are within striking distance. Simone Inzaghi’s men will want to continue with their newfound defensive solidity that has allowed them three successive clean sheets in all competitions. They have conceded just four goals in the league this year but have struggled up front, scoring more than one goal a game on two occasions.

Udinese started the season by winning six of their opening eight league matches but since then they have won only once which was away to struggling Sampdoria four match days ago. They have drawn more matches (9) than they have won (7) or lost (6). Since beating Inter 3-1 in September, Andrea Sottil’s charges have not scored more than two goals in a game but have scored in all but four of their matches including twice in their 2-2 draw with Sassuolo last time out. Udinese have one win in the last seven away league matches, and in the last four on the road, they have posted three defeats, failing to score in two of them.
