Inter Milan vs Napoli Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Inter Milan saw an end to their European season in midweek. Sunday saw them win 3-1 at Cagliari keeping them second in Serie A, a point and a place above opponents third placed Napoli. Inter finished bottom of their Champions League group, despite taking four points from their final two games. Perhaps not having the distraction of European football may help their Serie A title bid. Sunday saw them get back into winning ways with a 3-1 win at Cagliari. That didn’t look the likely final score as they went into the 77th minute a goal down. The victory made it four in a row in Serie A with 13 goals scored and with leaders Milan only drawing, Inter are now only three points off the top. They have just one loss in their last seven league fixtures but clean sheets are proving hard to keep. Inter have only managed that twice in their last 11 Serie A matches. They are proving hard to beat though, only Milan (currently top of the table) have beaten Inter in their last 18 league fixtures. Home form has produced three league wins out of five this season with 14 goals conceded but both teams have scored in each of those matches.

Napoli had another win on Sunday when beating Sampdoria 2-1 at home. They had to come from behind to get that victory though. It was their third in a row in Serie A after the home loss to leaders Milan last month. Ten goals have been scored in those three games with just one conceded. They are four points off the top of the table but will go second if winning this match at Inter. Napoli have won four of their five away Serie A games this season. The other was the match at Juventus that they didn’t travel to for health reasons. It’s been a relatively friendly fixture list though with none of the teams they have played away from home being in the top half of the table. This should be a great game with both sides in good form. A bet on over 2.5 goals is the tip for this game.
