Inter had a successful season last term but faced a late battle to ensure a place in the Champions League. They won two of their last three league games to finish in fourth place and will hope to make it out of their group this season. Their most expensive signing was defender Romario Benzar from FSCB for £1.8m. Despite being promoted last season Lecce lost more away league games than they won (7 v 6). It was their home record of 13 wins and just one defeat that secured promotion. This looks booked for an Inter home win with them leading at both half and full time.
