Inter Milan vs Sassuolo Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Inter Milan will seek to maintain their current rich vein of form by subduing Sassuolo when they host the two teams’ Italian Serie A Round 35 fixture on Saturday. The hosts come into this weekend in fourth place on the standings while Sassuolo are 13th. Inter are on a seven-match unbeaten run and have won six on the trot. They beat arch-rivals AC Milan 2-0 last time out to take the lead in their Champions League semifinal tie and should have the momentum to put Sassuolo to the sword and strengthen their chances of finishing in the top four. Simone Inzaghi’s men are on 63 points and lead Milan in fifth by two points heading into the final four rounds of the season. Several first-team players could be rested for this clash in anticipation of the return match against Milan next week but nonetheless, the Nerazzurri have enough firepower to not struggle against Sassuolo.

Sassuolo are without a win in their last two matches where they’ve picked up just one point. They drew 1-1 in the Emilian Derby with rivals Bologna last time out and before that had lost 2-0 away to Lazio. This poor run has left Alessio Dionisi’s charges with 44 points but they are still in with a chance at having a top-10 finish as they trail Bologna in eighth place by two points. Sassuolo have been poor away from home and have lost three successive matches on the road. They however beat Inter in this same fixture last season and should be preparing for this match believing they can do it again.
