Inter had a terrible start to the season and have already been knocked out of the Europa League. Since sacking their boss, results have picked up though and they have ten points from their last five league games. Home form has definitely improved and Inter have won their last four games scoring 11 and conceding just three. The improvement in form has taken them up to seventh in the table and only six points off the Europa League places. Their opponents Lazio are fourth in the table and only out of the Champions League places on goal difference. Current form is impressive with only one defeat in their last 12 league games and that was to second placed AS Roma. Away form is the best in the league with just the one defeat and that was on this ground when they lost to AC Milan. They have won three of their last five away league matches and this will be a severe test of just how much Inter have improved in recent weeks. A bet on over 2.5 goals in this game looks a good one with both sides scoring on a regular basis at present.
